They Found Us!

That's right the bishopric got to us. We are the new teachers for the CTR5 group. We went last Sunday so they could meet us and get to know us. Oh boy I can tell it is going to be fun already.

Teacher: why did the blind man want to meet Jesus?

Child: Cause he wanted to eat him.

Child2: I can burp without food.

Me: Oh, that's cool, but probably not the most reverent thing.

Child2: blaaaaah.

Me:Awesome.

So wish us luck as we take on this endeavour.

Cheer up Charlie!!

So on a day like today, snowing, cold and gloomy, I try to cheer myself up. I applied for every single job on craigslist, listened to some ABBA and my kindred spirit found this for me:

In-N-Out Burger Coming to Draper

KUTV -- Burger fans in Northern Utah have reason to celebrate.
Draper City announced today that the owners of In-N-Out Burger have submitted plans to build a restaurant at the Draper Peaks Shopping Center, located at 12195 S. Factor Outlet Dr.
Draper Mayor Darrell H. Smith said, "We are very pleased to be the first location in northern Utah. Our residents expressed in a survey that this was one of the restaurants they would like to see in Draper."
Draper officials said their city's Economic Development Department has been working with the owners of In-N-Out since last year to bring the popular burger joint to the city.
The proposed restaurant will be over 3,200 square feet, and will feature a drive through and quick-serve restaurant. The owners anticipate hiring between 50 and 60 employees.
No word yet on when the restaurant will open.

Draper is out by me kinda, so you will have to come visit us when you come get your burgers. So for all you gloomy gus' out there here is Camille's little pick-me up prescription. We already have news of only the bestest burger joint coming to Utah. If you are still feeling down today, like me, take one of each and go watch Mamma Mia. You will be magically whisked away to an exotic greek island. Ok probably not, but you might feel a little better.

(Aren't those boots fantastic?!)

Here is another classic cheer up song

Can't Get It Out of My Head

I have been wanting to do this for some time,

I have created a blog where we can share some music. Basically there is always a song or two that I cannot get enough of for about a week at a time. Sometimes its new, sometimes its old, and sometimes its better left unsaid.

I will post a few songs each week and I would encourage each of you to add a song or two each week that you are currently addicted to. The idea is to share some good music. If you like this idea, please create a link to the blog on your site so that we can attract as many users as possible to get more input.

Can't Get It Out of My Head ----------->

Hap, Hap, Happy Birthday!!

Today is Kelly's birthday. YEah!! He is 2 and 6 years old. He is officially closer to 30 than he is to 20. Bummer... for him.
We kicked off his birth celebration Friday night. We had some peeps come over for a winter BBQ. Kelly and I love to marinate stuff, so Thursday night we started our chicken and steak to soak till Friday night. We had a blast. Good food, good company and plenty of reminiscing for the Morgan boys. All you girls know what I am talking about. Of course there was guitar hero, some catch phrase and a little counting game Chase loves to play, so we all humored him by playing it. Chad actually showed up this time, but I'm pretty sure the only reason he did was so he could get us back (those of you who know what I am talking about) by toilet papering our bedroom. I didn't take a picture because I was too mad he used our good toilet paper and not the crappy kind.
Today I made omelette's for breakfast. We invited Kelly's fam down for dinner. I attempted to make cafe rio pork salads. I must say they turned out quite well. The only crappy thing is the meat takes forever to cook. I had to start the meat at 8 p.m. Saturday night. But it was worth the effort. Screw actually going to Cafe Rio ever again. I even made their good tomatillo ranch. I must say I am pretty proud of myself. Then ended the night with some card games.
Kelly shares a birthday with his niece, well her birthday is the 9th. So they had a joint cake and they both opened presents today. We had a great time. Thanks everybody for making the trek down to our house.
I guess it wouldn't be complete without a small tribute to my hubby. When you read this Kel, know that I am grateful for all that you do. I just love you!
