In Like Flynn!!

We finally moved into our house last week. It felt like we had a lot of stuff, but once we got it all put away we realized we didn't have that much stuff. The sad thing is, is most of it is just stuff. Crap I have hauled around with me through the college years and never had the heart to throw away. I would open a box and there would be like 3 or 4 shoe boxes full of little things. Next move, I promise to learn how to pack better!!
Harley can't decide if she likes the new house or not. It's like she keeps waiting for us to go back to my parents house. Poor thing. I decided the one downfall is that we don't have a yard, so we have to get up with Harley 3 times a night to take her out. Then I have to get mad at her when all she does is sniff around for forever. My sleep is more important.
The first night we stayed there was a little weird but got better as I realized that this is our house, we own it! Then I had to get dressed in the closet because we don't have curtains yet. Yikes! We do have a few neighbors and have met some of them. I can't wait till the whole courtyard is filled. I included some pics below. They aren't the best, so if you really want to see the house, you have to come visit us :)!

Harley in the kitchen.

The south side

The west side. Our room is up there.

The west side again. This is our whole townhouse and some of the garage got cut off.

The kitchen. We don't have a fridge yet, who knew I would ever have to buy a fridge. That's something only our parents do.

View from the north room. The computer room I guess.

Part of the master bedroom. I was too embarrassed by our small bed, so I just took pictures of the windows cause they are the best.

More master bedroom windows.

And last our empty family/front room. We did buy a couch and that is coming soon. If you think I lay on the floor and watch movies, you are right. Harley does love all the open space for us to play with her. Go figure.

Well there you have it, our humble home. I have no idea how to decorate, so if you come over, don't judge me. Anyway, well Happy Halloween since I am posting on Halloween. Don't know what we are doing tonight, but it will probably be crazy!! Ok not really.

Seriously So Bored!

Sometimes I have some "down-time" at work. So I was thinking about the people I search on google. People that interest me. I have compiled this list. Maybe this is more to entertain me than you. Don't worry I am not a stalker or obsessed with any of these people. It's just like when you read your People magazine. Don't judge me. Whatever..

Haley Williams, lead singer of Paramore. The reason I looked her up is because she is probably what 17 or 18 and already is making more money than I ever will my in my whole life. Paramore toured with Jimmy Eat World and we were at that concert. I liked their stuff and she has an amazing voice. The only thing I know for certain is she will probably sell out just like Avril. How I know? Well anyone who would write a song just for the Twilight movie is bound to sell out. (P.S. I hate to admit this, but it is a good song.)

Carah Faye, former Shiny Toy Guns band member. She has a cool voice and she just looks bad ass. I don't really read much about her, I was just curious to see what she looked like.

Kat Von D, L.A. Ink. OK I probably wouldn't get as many tattoos as she has. I don't think I could handle to get one even. But I think she is pretty cool. Don't really know why. I guess she just seems really confident and doesn't care what anybody thinks. She just does her own thing.

Ellen Paige, actress most known as Juno. Juno has been added to my all time favorite movies. My sisters tell me my personality is just like Juno's. Someone told me I looked like Juno. I don't think so. But whatever.

I know this is a way random post, but I think you can tell a lot about a person by the people that interest them. Like one thing all these people, to me, have in common is their individuality. They are all doing what they love, I'm assuming. So there ya go. My question is, who interests you?

Kelly "da man" Jaques

Since none of you care about Harley, I will use this post as sort of an apology to Kelly. We were playing Dr. Mario on the wii last night and sometimes it makes me really crazy angry. Needless to say I said some really hurtful things to Kelly(which are too insane to post). So sorry, Kelly. I am posting this tribute to you. I stole this one from Meagan's space. Thanks

1. What is his name? Kelly Jaques. No middle name, but he gave himself "da man" because he is the man.
2. Who eats more? He does by far. I have to give him some of my food to finish so I don't feel bad about not eating it.
3. Who said I love you first? He did. It was the night of my sister's wedding and he was dropping me off at home and just said it. And yes I said it back.
4.Who is taller? Kelly, although I don't think I really know how tall he is.
5.Who is smarter? Umm, we are equal. But I think he is definitely more philosophical.
6.Who is more sensitive? Me by far. Kelly can just let things roll off his back.
7.Who does the laundry? Mostly me. But he helps me fold it. I am very particular about how things get washed. One time I got mad at him because he washed something in warm water. I know, he should never be allowed to do laundry again.
8.Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? We kinda play musical sides. Sometimes I will wake up on the other side of the bed and have no idea how that came to be. But I guess it just depends on who has to get up earlier so they sleep by the alarm clock which is on the left side.
9.Who pays the bills? Me, but he makes the car payment.
10.Who cooks more? good question.
11.Who is more stubborn? Me, I am a girl so naturally.
12.Who is the first to admit they are wrong? Well Kelly makes me admit I am wrong sometimes. Does that count if it's forced?
13.Who has more siblings? Of course I do, the big utah mormon family.
14.Who wears the pants in the relationship? hmm we both take charge sometimes.
15.What do you like to do together? Everything. I like to consider us laid back people so we can be happy doing just about anything.
16.Who eats more sweets? This one is mine.
17.Guilty Pleasures? Don't really know. Sometimes I watch the Disney channel. He likes chick flicks sometimes.
18.How did you meet? We met at good ol' matchmaking Icon. I remember meeting him and Chad Covill (the morgan boys) and they threw stuff over the cubicle at my friend Erin and it hit me too. He says the first time he remembers me is we both were helping move some cubicle walls at Icon. Sorry not a cool story.
19.Who asked out who first? Well if I remember correctly I asked him to see Pirates of the Carribean and I thought it was a date because I paid, and he asked if he could bring his friend Chase along. So take it for what it's worth.
20.Who kissed who first? Kelly has this one. We were just hanging out in my apartment and he said there was something we hadn't done yet and it started with a 'k'. I said kiss and he got a little red "actually, I was thinking cuddle." I then informed him cuddle was with a 'c'. So we cuddled and don't worry he kissed me.
21.Who proposed? Kelly did. Angels Landing in Zions is sort of a special place for us. We decided to go to St. George last minute and invited the Anderson's with us. Genna was prego at the time so they made the excuse she couldn't make it to the top, so Kelly and I hiked up to Angels Landing. We were the only ones up there except for some amish people or were they Mennonites? Who can tell the difference these days. Anyway he was sitting behind me and he was still breathing hard and his heart was pounding. He kept talking about stupid things and I remember thinking "what is wrong with him? the hike wasn't that hard?" So finally I just asked what his deal was. He said "this" and I look down and there was my ring on his pinky finger. So he proposed to me "on top of a mountain!"
22. His best features and qualities? His best features are in his face. I love to watch him sleep sometimes because he looks like a little kid (no I don't have pedophile tenancies). I know it means personality wise, but I am still so attracted to Kelly, I think it's a good thing. Kelly is so selfless. He always has the concerns and needs of other people on his mind. He works hard and is going to school full time and working full time right now. That's some hard work.
He loves to have fun, which is a good thing being married to me. When I ask him about his day he tells me rather than just say "fine." He is a great listener. I know he will do well being a counselor because he genuinely cares. He likes trying new things and pushes me to get out of my comfort zone.
And for some crazy reason he loves me and puts up with all of my bull. He makes me want to be a better person. And anyone that can do that must be living a pretty good life.

I decided I don't really have anything to post because we are about to close on our house and we are poor. We do cheap stuff with our friends but never bring a camera. And I am tired of looking at the same post for a month so I am doing one about Harley. She is our beloved Harley girl.
We have had her for two years. We got her as our first anniversary gift to each other. The day we got her we weren't even planning on getting a dog.
I have always wanted a boston terrier since the one Zyrtec commercial with "Baxter". Kelly found an ad in the paper for boston puppies. She was a pretty good deal for being pure bred. I knew if we went to go look at her we would end up getting her and sure enough we did. I wanted to name her Bell, but Kelly said he couldn't yell that name across the park and feel manly about it. The next day or two we went through a myriad of names but nothing fit. Since we both liked Harley Davidsons I just said "why not Harley?" and it stuck. Yes, Kelly can still feel manly reprimanding her.
We decided our dog has to be cool so we taught her some tricks. She can stand up and dance in a circle. Balance a treat on her nose while she balances on her haunches. She can shake, roll-over, beg and walk. She will go running with me since I have slowed down quite a bit. Harley has to sleep in between us at night. Kelly bought her a bed, but it was really a cat bed and is a little too small for her. (don't worry she still tries to curl up in it.)She loves to play and she is so smart. Whenever she doesn't understand what you are saying she cocks her head to the side and perks her ears up. I know I sound like I am gloating over a child, but Harley pretty much is our child. I even have nic names for her: Har, quin, Harlequin, quinny, missy moo, fart bag (she has really stinky farts), bat dog, etc...So here are some pics of Harley.
